Knowledge base
General — for everyone
Registration and login
- On the home page, click “Log in” → “Sign up”.
- Choose a role — “Student” or “Tutor”. The choice determines which form fields appear next (a tutor also adds a photo, a description and the subjects they teach).
- Fill in your first name, last name, email, age and password. If you are under 18, a separate “Consent of a legal representative” checkbox appears — the form won't submit without it.
- Tick the consent to personal data processing (and, for a tutor, consent to publishing the profile) and click “Sign up”.
- An email with a confirmation link will be sent to the address you entered. Until you follow it, you can't log in to your account — this way we make sure the email is real and belongs to you. If the email hasn't arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder; the login page also has a “Resend confirmation email” link.
For a tutor, registration is also an application for moderator review. See “For tutors” → “How to register as a tutor” for details.
Your account and profile
The “My account” button in the site header (for logged-in users) opens a menu with these sections:
- Profile — a summary: for a tutor, students and rating; for a student, tutors and test results.
- My subscription — plans for AI features, see below.
- Notifications — an event feed: new requests, reviewed assignments, chat replies, etc.
- Profile settings — name, email, password, photo. Changing your email and password requires confirmation with a code sent by email.
- Notification settings — which events to show on the site and which to also send by email (see below).
Notifications: what you get and how to configure them
For most events (a new message, a reply to a request, reviewed homework, a lesson reminder half an hour before) the site notifies you in two ways: a bell with a counter in the header and, if enabled, an email.
- My account → “Notification settings”.
- Each type of notification has two switches: “on the site” and “by email”. Everything is enabled by default.
- Turn off what you don't need and save.
Messages (chat)
Messaging is only possible between a student and a tutor who have an accepted learning request with each other — you can't open a chat with a stranger.
- The “My contacts” section in the header lists everyone you have a conversation with.
- Choose a contact on the left and the message history opens on the right.
- Messages arrive instantly while the page is open; on a phone, the contact list and the conversation are two separate screens with a “Back” button between them.
When lessons with a particular person end (the request was withdrawn or the tutor stopped working with the student), the conversation stays readable for another six months, but you can no longer send new messages to it.
Video calls
- The tutor starts the video call — the “Video call” button in the “Teaching” section (it opens in a new tab).
- A link to the created room is automatically sent to the student as a notification — that's where they join from, no need to look for it separately.
- The call works right in the browser, no software to install: the browser will ask for permission to use the camera and microphone — you need to allow them.
Plans and subscription for AI features
Generating tests, homework, lesson notes and presentations with AI is a paid feature with free trial attempts. Without a subscription these features still work manually — only the AI assistance is paid.
- The “About” → “Pricing” section is a public page describing the plans and prices, available without logging in.
- To subscribe or change your subscription — My account → “My subscription”: there you can also see your current plan, the end date and payment history, and find the button to turn off auto-renewal.
- Payment is processed via Robokassa; after a successful payment the plan is activated immediately.
Reviews
Only a student who had an accepted learning request with a tutor can leave a review about them — and only once per tutor.
- Open the tutor's profile (for example, from “My tutors”) and click “Leave a review”.
- Give a rating and, if you like, write some text.
- The tutor sees reviews about themselves in the “Reviews about me” section and can reply to them.
Support
- The “Support” section is in your personal area (“Personal area” menu → “Support”). It is available only after you log in.
- Click “Ask a question”, enter a subject and the question itself. You can attach an image or a PDF (the paperclip button), and paste a screenshot from the clipboard (Ctrl+V).
- An AI consultant answers first, based on this knowledge base. If the answer helped, click “Issue resolved”. If not, just write what is still unclear and a support team member will take over. If the knowledge base has no answer, the consultant passes the question to a team member itself.
- When an operator picks up the request, its status changes to “In progress”, and you can message them right in the request. You get a notification about every reply.
- A resolved request moves to “Closed” and stays read-only for 180 days. If you don’t reply for 3 days after support answers, the request closes automatically. A new question means a new request; you can have at most three open at a time.

How to find and choose a tutor
There are two ways — both lead to the “Our tutors” section.
- On your own: open the list, look at the subjects, lesson price and reviews in each profile, and click “More” on a suitable one.
- With AI matching: on the same page there's a “Submit a learning request” button — describe in words what you need (subject, grade, goal, convenient time), and the system will pick suitable tutors among those with open slots.
Learning request
- On the chosen tutor's page there is a “Send request” button; briefly describe what you need.
- The tutor will see the request in their “Requests” and accept or decline it; you'll receive a notification with the answer.
- Once the request is accepted, a chat with the tutor opens, and they can schedule lessons, assignments and tests for you.
The list of accepted tutors is in “Learning” → “My tutors”. From there you can also stop working with a tutor if you no longer need lessons — with a separate button on their card.
Homework
- The “Learning” → “Homework” section lists the assignments given to you, with deadlines and statuses.
- Open an assignment, attach a file with your solution if needed and click “Submit for review”.
- The tutor reviews it and either accepts the work or sends it back for revision with a comment — you'll get a notification in both cases.
Tests
- A test assigned by the tutor appears in the “Learning” → “Courses” section or directly via the link in the notification.
- Once you open a test, answer the questions in order — if the test has a time limit, the timer is visible on the page.
- After submitting, the result is immediately visible in the “Test results” section, and for wrong answers you can request an explanation of why the answer is incorrect.
Courses
A course is a set of the tutor's lessons, materials and tests organized by topic. The tutor opens access to a specific course.
- The “Learning” → “Courses” section lists the courses you have access to.
- Inside a course, lessons go in order; completed ones are marked separately from those not yet opened.
Materials and presentations
- “Learning” → “Reference materials” — files and notes your tutor has shared with you.
- “Learning” → “Presentations” — the same for presentations; they open in the built-in slide viewer.
- The presentation viewer has a full-screen button (an icon in the corner of the slide) — handy for viewing on a phone.
My progress
The “Learning” → “My progress” section is a summary across all subjects and tutors at once: test results, submitted assignments and lessons attended for the selected period.
For tutors
How to register as a tutor
- “Log in” → “Sign up”, role “Tutor”.
- Fill in your personal details, add a photo (required — students choose profiles by the photo) and a description of yourself and your approach to teaching.
- Add subjects: the name, lesson price and length for each — you can add several.
- Tick the consent to data processing and, separately, the consent to publishing your profile (without it the profile cannot appear in the public list of tutors).
- Submit the form, confirm your email via the link in the message (see “General” → “Registration and login”), and your tutor application goes to a moderator for review.
- While the application is under review, only its status page is available (My account → “Profile”) — there you can also withdraw the application or, if it was returned for revision, edit and resubmit it.
- After approval you get a notification, and all features become available — your profile appears in the public list of tutors.
Learning requests — how to accept them
- The “Teaching” → “Requests” section shows requests from students who want to study with you.
- Open a request, see what the student wrote, and accept or decline it.
- Once accepted, the student appears in “My students”, a chat with them opens, and you can schedule lessons, assignments and tests for them.
My students and schedule
- “Teaching” → “My students” — a list of accepted students with quick access to each one.
- A student's card shows their lesson schedule, homework, progress and history of paid lessons.
- The schedule is set by days of the week and times; marking a lesson as held deducts it from the number of paid lessons.
Create a course
- “Teaching” → “Courses” → “Create course”.
- Enter the course title and description.
- Inside the course, add lessons, materials and tests in order — this is how you build a program of lessons on a topic.
- Open access to the course for the students who need it on the course page — only they will see it in the “Courses” section.
Lessons and sessions
“Lessons” in the menu is learning content (notes, the topic of a lesson) that can be included in courses. The actual scheduled session with a particular student is marked on their card, see “My students and schedule”.
- “Teaching” → “Lessons” → “Create lesson” — a title and text (notes); formulas are typed as usual and displayed in readable form.
- A finished lesson can be added to any course.
Materials: manual upload and AI generation
- “Teaching” → “Materials” — your own file library (notes, cheat sheets, problem sets).
- Upload your own file: the upload button — drag a file or choose one from your device.
- Generate with AI: a separate button — describe the topic, and the material will be assembled automatically based on your existing materials and courses; you can edit the draft before saving. It uses one attempt from your plan (see “General” → “Plans”).
- Open access for the students who need it via “Material access” — just like for courses.
Tests: manual creation and AI generation
- “Teaching” → “Tests” → “Create test”.
- Manually: add questions one at a time — single choice, multiple choice, text answer; specify the correct answer for each.
- With AI: the “Generate with AI” button — enter the topic and the number of questions; the draft appears right away and you can adjust it before saving (uses an attempt from your plan).
- Turn on a time limit if needed.
- Assign the test to a student or add it to a course.
- You can check submitted answers and, if needed, explain the mistakes in the same place where the student's result is shown.
Homework: assigning and reviewing
- On the student's card (“My students” → choose a student) — the “Homework” section → “Assign homework”.
- Describe the assignment manually or generate it with AI on a topic (uses an attempt from your plan) — in both cases you can attach a file and set a due date.
- When the student sends a solution, you'll see it in the list of assignments — accept the work or send it back for revision with a comment on what's wrong.
Presentations: creating, AI and uploading a file
- “Teaching” → “Presentations” → “Create presentation”.
- With AI: enter a topic and a draft of the slides (titles, key points, illustrations if you wish) is assembled automatically; you can edit it before saving (uses an attempt from your plan).
- Upload a ready-made file: a separate button — it accepts PDF and PowerPoint (.pptx), and each page becomes a slide in the same viewer.
- Open access for students and, if you like, use full-screen view right in the presentation during a lesson.
Group lessons
- “Teaching” → “Groups” → “Create group”.
- Enter a name and add lesson days and times — you can have several slots a week.
- Add students to the group from the list of your students.
- You can mark a lesson as held and assign homework for the whole group at once — on the group page, rather than for each student separately.
Video calls
- “Teaching” → “Video call” — creates a room and opens it in a new tab.
- The room link is automatically sent to the student as a notification.
- If you accidentally create a second room, the site will offer to close the previous one so that the student doesn't end up with two different links at once.
My workload and income
- “Teaching” → “My workload” — how many lessons were held and are scheduled for a period.
- “Income” on the same page — the total for lessons held in the selected period, with the option to export to a file.
Reviews about me
“Teaching” → “Reviews about me” — all student reviews, with the option to reply to each. You can't delete a review yourself — if it breaks the rules, contact a moderator via the contact form.
Stopping work with a student or giving up tutor status
- To stop working with a specific student: on their card there's a “Stop working with student” button; give a reason. The request goes for review, and the student gets a notification.
- To give up tutor status entirely: My account → “Profile settings” → “Give up tutor status”, also with a reason and also via review — the status doesn't change instantly.
