Terms of use

Terms of use

This document describes the terms on which the School π website may be used. By registering, you agree to these terms.

1. Who provides what

The School π website (school-pi.online, hereinafter, the Platform) is owned and operated by the Operator, whose details are given in the Personal Data Processing Policy.

The Platform is a place where tutors and students find each other and work together: the tutor creates courses, lessons and tests and schedules lessons, and the student completes them and sees their progress.

The Platform is not an educational institution and does not issue education certificates. Lessons are given by tutors who have registered on the Platform independently.

2. Who may use it

If a user is under 18, registration is possible with the knowledge and consent of a parent or another legal representative.

3. Account

4. Payment for lessons

The Platform does not accept or process payments. The tutor states the price and length of lessons in their profile for reference. All payments are made directly between the student (or their legal representative) and the tutor, outside the Platform.

The parties determine the arrangements for lessons — their format, schedule, price, and cancellation and refund procedure — on their own. The Operator is not a party to these arrangements and bears no liability under them.

5. Plans for AI features

Generating tests with AI and other similar features are paid, separately for tutors and for students. The current plans and prices are on the “Pricing” page. The first few uses of each feature are free for every account; exactly how many remain is shown on the “My subscription” page. The full subscription terms, including the procedure for automatic charges, cancellation and refunds, are in the subscription offer; a summary is given below.

A paid plan is valid for 30 days from the moment the money is received. You can buy a plan in advance on top of one that hasn't ended yet — the new period will begin right after the current one ends; you can't buy a second one in advance while the first hasn't started yet.

Auto-renewal. When paying, you can enable automatic renewal — then, one day before the period ends, the price of the same plan is automatically charged to the payment method used for the first payment, and the period is extended by another 30 days. Consent to auto-renewal is given explicitly, with a separate tick at payment, not by default.

6. Rules of conduct

When using the Platform, you may not:

If these rules are broken, the Operator may restrict access to the account or delete it, and also delete the posted materials.

7. Rights to materials

Learning materials, courses, lessons and tests created by a tutor belong to their author. By posting them on the Platform, the author permits the Operator to store them and show them to users who have been given access, to the extent necessary for the Platform to work.

A student receives access to materials for personal learning. They may not be copied, distributed or published without the author's permission.

The design, page texts and program code of the Platform belong to the Operator.

8. Liability and availability of the service

9. Personal data

The procedure for processing personal data is described in the Personal Data Processing Policy. It also explains how to view, change or delete your data and how to withdraw consent.

10. Changes to the terms

The Operator may change this Agreement. The current version is always available at https://school-pi.online/terms. By continuing to use the Platform after the changes, you accept the new version. If you do not agree with it, stop using the Platform and delete your account.

11. Dispute resolution

The relations of the parties are governed by the law of the Russian Federation. The parties seek to settle disputes by correspondence: a claim is sent to the Operator's address, and the response period is 30 days. If agreement cannot be reached, the dispute is resolved in court at the Operator's location in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

12. Contacting the Operator

The details and the address for requests are given in Section 1 of the Personal Data Processing Policy. You can also write via the contact form.

This version is effective from the moment of publication.
