Group lessons — School π

A group works like a single student — there are just several of them

Its own price, its own homework, its own “lesson held” button. Paid lessons and grades, however, are individual.

One click instead of five

You held a lesson with a group of four — you mark it once. The platform records the lesson for each student, deducts one paid lesson from each and calculates income: the per-person price multiplied by the number of participants. Everyone gets a notification.

Made a mistake? Undoing removes the lesson from the whole group at once and returns the lessons. You can't undo it for one person: the lesson was shared, and cancelling only half the records would mean that part of the group attended and part did not.

The group forms itself

If several students are scheduled at the same time, the platform will offer to form a group from them — you just give it a name and a price. You can also go the other way: choose people, set days and times, and the lessons will appear in their schedules automatically.

  • There can be several lessons — twice a week or even twice a day, before and after a break.
  • Rescheduling applies to everyone at once. A group is defined by everyone being scheduled at the same time, so rescheduling one person at a time is simply not possible.
  • We won't miss a clash. If one of the participants already has a lesson at that time, the platform will tell you who exactly and won't let you schedule a second one.
  • Membership can change at any time — both adding and removing.

Assignments and grades are personal

An assignment is given to the whole group in one step, but everyone sends their own solution, and you review them individually: each student has their own grade and their own number of revisions. Nobody sees anyone else's work.

In the progress report, group members appear as regular students — with their own average score and their own trends.

Frequently asked questions

How is the price of a group lesson calculated?

You set the price per participant. The income from a lesson is that price multiplied by the number of participants.

Can a student study both in a group and individually?

Yes. A student can be in several groups and also have one-on-one lessons with you — the schedule shows everything together.

What if someone has run out of paid lessons?

The platform will warn you and say who exactly. You can still mark the lesson — it's up to you.
